Why is SureSmile Right for You?

Invisible braces are one of many great inventions of modern dentistry. Sure Smile uses a series of clear, custom, removable aligners.   Each aligner moves your teeth just a little bit at a time until you achieve the desired result. The obvious benefits are that you don’t have to deal with unsightly metal brackets or wires. If food gets stuck, you can just remove your aligners and rinse them out and put them back on. SureSmile is also better for people who have TMD or other jaw or periodontal issues. (However, unless you have metal allergies, metal braces may be a better option for those who have less cosmetic and more specific and severe dental issues). With SureSmile you can also see the outcome before you even start your treatment.

The Process:

Once your dentist has approved that SureSmile will work for you, your photos and impressions are taken and sent over to the SureSmile lab. Using advanced 3D technology, the process is time lapsed from beginning to end of treatment and the doctor is given an analysis of approximately how many steps you (the patient) will have to take to get the finish line.

Once treatment begins, you must wear your SureSmile aligners for at least 22 hours out of the day. You can remove them for eating, brushing and flossing, but it’s important that you stick to the program because your aligners are updated about every 3 weeks and your teeth will feel a lot more pressure (discomfort) if they haven’t shifted enough. If you neglect to wear your SureSmile for the optimal amount of time, you may also delay your treatment and end up spending more money.

After you have completed the steps, a final aligner is used to maintain the changes that you have made to your teeth.

Comparing Competition:

Among its competition, SureSmile is the clear winner for three main reasons. The price is much lower, the aligners are less noticeable (clearer and thinner), and customer service & aftercare is notoriously better.
